RACE DESCRIPTION
HYDRATION & FUELING
The Lone Star Night Run is a 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon run held on Lake Mineral Wells State Park's Trailway in the foothills of North Texas. The course is open and paved with soft fine gravel. The race follows an out & back course beginning and ending at the Weatherford Trailhead.
Main Tent (Mile 0 & Finish) - We will have Water, Pickle Juice, Tailwind for electrolytes & Bannans at this station.
Hydration Station (Mile 5 & 8) - We will have Water & Tailwind for electrolytes at this station.

RACE NECESSITIES
- This race is at night and therefore dark. All participants should bring a headlamp.
- Texas State Parks require each participant to get a $7 day pass. You can purchase yours here.
- Bring a water-carrying system (Camelback, water bottle, etc.) If you don’t have one, we will have paper cups at the aid stations.
WHAT YOU GET
EVERYONE WILL RECEIVE A T-SHIRT AND BIB NUMBER UPON PACKET PICKUP.
ALL FINISHERS RECEIVE A LONE START NIGHT RUN FINISHER MEDAL.
1ST, 2ND, 3RD PLACE MALE AND FEMALE RECEIVE A PLACEMENT MEDAL.
A FOOD TRUCK WILL BE AWAITING ALL FINISHERS AT THE FINISH LINE FOR A NICE DINNER.
This race is a part of the Texas Summer Night Series. Anyone who completes all 3 races in the series will receive a Texas Summer Night Series Water Proof Sports Duffle Bag & a case that holds all the race medals in the series.
