MY STORY

As a young person, I was always involved in sports in some capacity. Whether that was baseball, basketball, swim team; I did it all. However, no specific sport ever struck my passionate side. Don’t get me wrong, I had a lot of fun doing these other sports, but I was never competitive because I wanted to be the best I could be. Running changed that.

In the 9th grade I decided to go and join a cross country practice, just to see what it was all about (little did I know at the time that it would spark a lifelong passion of mine). As I should’ve known, the first practice was very painful, as I was far from decent running shape. Yet something pulled me back to the second practice… and the third, the fourth, and so on. From that moment on I was on fire with the idea that every little thing that I do can make me a better, stronger, and faster runner.

Kindled by that newfound passion for running, I would help my high school team win 3 cross country state championships, as well as a very prideful runner-up track championship (we didn’t have a track to train on at our school). The passion continued to grow throughout high school, and I eventually set my sights on running collegiately, which I achieved.

Given these things, my passion still burns bright to this day, and I continually think about what my future holds. I don’t believe that I, like many people, have reached my full potential with the sport. This is the reason that I want to coach every person according to their need, paired with their best ability, towards their greatest potential.

EXPECTATIONS

You will need to download the app 'Strava'. That's how you will post/track all of your workouts. It's also how I'll see all of your progress.

If you get serious, a running or apple watch is great to track your runs. You can connect most watches to the 'Strava' app and it will upload workouts for you.

Running is a physically and mentally challenging sport. It takes time, effort, and dedication in order to see the best results. All I ask is that you trust in the process and give your all every day. Distance running is not a sprint it's a marathon and if you trust my training and get after it you can achieve all your dreams.
