Texas Outlaw Running Company and Outlast are seeking a high-level operational leader to help oversee and scale our growing national endurance event organization.
This role will oversee Race Directors and operational teams nationwide while helping improve existing races, launch new markets, build systems, and maintain high-quality event execution across the organization.
Responsibilities
This role will oversee and manage Race Directors and operational staff nationwide while helping improve operational consistency, staffing, logistics, scheduling, and overall event execution. The Director of Operations will help grow existing races, assist in launching new markets and events, build scalable systems and accountability processes, and work directly with the Founder/CEO on operational strategy, leadership, and long-term company growth. This position plays a major role in maintaining a high-quality participant experience and ensuring strong execution standards across all events.
Qualifications
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience managing large-scale endurance events, including experience overseeing events with 1,000+ participants, along with 3+ years of leadership or management experience. Strong operational, organizational, and communication skills are required, along with the ability to lead teams in fast-paced environments and travel extensively throughout the year. Experience within the endurance, cycling, swimming, triathlon, running, trail, or event industry is required.
