Director of National Operations (Longview TX)​

Texas Outlaw Running Company and Outlast are seeking a high-level operational leader to help oversee and scale our growing national endurance event organization.

This role will oversee Race Directors and operational teams nationwide while helping improve existing races, launch new markets, build systems, and maintain high-quality event execution across the organization.

Responsibilities

This role will oversee and manage Race Directors and operational staff nationwide while helping improve operational consistency, staffing, logistics, scheduling, and overall event execution. The Director of Operations will help grow existing races, assist in launching new markets and events, build scalable systems and accountability processes, and work directly with the Founder/CEO on operational strategy, leadership, and long-term company growth. This position plays a major role in maintaining a high-quality participant experience and ensuring strong execution standards across all events.

Qualifications

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience managing large-scale endurance events, including experience overseeing events with 1,000+ participants, along with 3+ years of leadership or management experience. Strong operational, organizational, and communication skills are required, along with the ability to lead teams in fast-paced environments and travel extensively throughout the year. Experience within the endurance, cycling, swimming, triathlon, running, trail, or event industry is required.

Marketing & Advertising Intern (Longview TX)​

  • Hiring Term: Immediate Opening | 3–12 Month Internship

Texas Outlaw Running Company and Outlast are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing & Advertising Intern to support our growing endurance event organization through content creation, advertising initiatives, brand development, and digital marketing efforts.

This internship provides hands-on experience working directly with company leadership while helping promote races, grow brand awareness, engage participants, and support marketing campaigns across multiple platforms and events nationwide.

Responsibilities

This role will assist with social media management, content creation, digital advertising campaigns, email marketing, and promotional initiatives across Texas Outlaw Running Company and Outlast brands. The Marketing & Advertising Intern will help support race promotion efforts, conduct market research, assist with campaign reporting and analytics, and contribute creative ideas to increase participant engagement and brand visibility. The intern will work closely with leadership and gain exposure to marketing strategy, advertising execution, and brand growth initiatives while supporting the overall mission of growing participation and awareness across all events.

Qualifications

Candidates should have strong written and verbal communication skills, creativity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Experience with Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, digital marketing platforms, Canva, or related marketing tools is preferred but not required.  Applicants should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working with both creative concepts and performance data. A background or interest in marketing, advertising, communications, business, sports management, or related fields is preferred.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is creative, driven, and eager to gain real-world marketing experience while contributing meaningful work to a growing organization. They should be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable generating ideas while executing projects independently. We are looking for someone who is eager to gain hands-on experience managing and optimizing Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns, interpreting performance metrics, and identifying opportunities to increase registrations and revenue. The ideal candidate enjoys both the strategic and data-driven aspects of marketing, is comfortable testing new ideas, and is motivated by achieving measurable results that contribute directly to company growth.
