COURSE

Fire Trail Course Map.png

The terrain for the course varies. One moment you're running through the rocky terrain of the woodlands and the next you're running through the scenic singletrack open grasslands. It's a fast course with a few technical sections. The terrain varies from rocky to grass and dirt singletrack. The weather is expected to be a low around 65-70s and mid-80s with an estimate of 10-20mph winds. Regardless of the weather conditions, we will continue to race unless life-threatening circumstances occur.

This race is a cupless race so please come with your own water-carrying system whether that's a running vest, camelback, or hand-held water bottles/cups. This is a night trail run so please bring a headlamp as well. We do not tolerate littering. One of our biggest values is being environmentally friendly. Help keep the environment maintained to its natural state without hurting the animals and plants that live there.

Trail Markers
We will use orange ties and signs with yellow reflective tape to mark the course. Signs with arrows will be used to show which trail to run on and ties will be used to let you know you're on the right path.

AWARDS/MERCH

Every runner will get a Fire Trail Running Festival Craft Sportswear short sleeve shirt and a finisher race medal. The First, Second, and Third places male and First, Second, and Third places female of each distance will get a trophy. The last person to finish each distance will get a DFL award... "dead freakin last."

LIVE MUSIC & VENDORS

We will have live music going with Nashville TN comeup; Logan Davis.

In addition, we will have booths with local vendors showcasing their organizations. We will not have any food trucks onsite.

AID STATION

This race will have one aid station at the start/finish event area. It will be manned by a few volunteers and will have water, Tailwind, Pickle Juice, bananas, oranges, PB&Js, and other various sweet, salty and savory snacks.
