Runners will run a total of 31.1 miles. The elevation gain is around 2500ft of climbing and descending. Aid/Water stations will be available every 3-6 miles. 50K runners will get to experience going through running "Clarity Tunnel" where there could be some bats. With this, we have a recommendation from the Park Superintendent "There will likely be a build-up of bat guano in the tunnel so as a safety precaution, I suggest informing runners to walk through the tunnel as well as to utilize the tire tracks as their path through it so as to minimize the amount of guano dust in the air."
